- Bolling Family Association
A most worthy site, dedicated to all Bollings and spelling variants. Their DNA study is way cool.
- Godfrey de Bouillon (1058-1100).
"The perfect knight." Believed by some to be a most illustrious ancestor of our Bolling family. Illustrious he certainly was, but an ancestor of this family, I think not.
His sons were quite important, themselves, and our obscure Bolling ancestor was not counted among them.
Without him (Alas!) we don't get his own ancestors, Charlemagne and Alfred the Great.
